Ego Distorts Truth

Ego Distorts Truth
  1. Ego distorts truth.  When we view life through the lens of the ego—our need to be right, important, or superior—we lose sight of reality as it truly is. The ego filters every experience through fear, pride, and insecurity, twisting truth to serve its own agenda. It convinces us that separation, competition, and judgment are necessary for survival, when in truth, they only create suffering and conflict. To see clearly, we must quiet the ego and allow humility and awareness to lead. When we move beyond ego, truth reveals itself naturally, simple, compassionate, and free from distortion, bringing us closer to peace within ourselves and harmony with others.
